One of the most pleasant stays we've had in an air bnb. The host and his dogs provided us with a friendly welcome and a very enjoyable few days. The location is not central but is close to both a rail station and a metro. In addition the garden and bedroom were a fun and alternative experience. Overall we could not recommend a place more highly. Thank you !

Guglielmo and Annamaria's place in Rome is just amazing! Like a little paradise in the center of the city, close to the subway but at the same time it is like you are on a different planet. We enjoyed everything, from the little cabin in the Zen garden, to the quiet and calm energies around the house, to the place outside to eat and is the ideal place for a couple who wants to spend quality time together and enjoy seeing Rome at the same time....We hope to stay in touch and to come visit again!

The Zen garden is a unique place in Rome. If you are looking for a quiet and calm place, you must stay here. The accommodation is located inside a Zen meditation center with the attentive and kind hosts, Ana Maria and Doryu and their 2 dogs, like kokoro, and their 2 cats. The place is also located very near to the train to the airport and to rest the center of Rome. You should stay here.

This place was such a comfortable, clean, quiet escape from the trash filled, noisy streets of Rome. The two hosts were super nice, open, accommodating and helpful! We would stay with them again...if it weren't in Rome.

My husband and I had the absolute best time at the zen garden. The hosts were amazing from the espresso upon arrival, to doing our laundry, to providing friendly and helpful l advice, and finally to providing a fabulous breakfast every morning in the garden. The bungalow was comfortable, peaceful, and clean. It is also in a great location, close to public transportation including buses, trams, and trains. We wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else in Roma!!!

The space was as advertised. No Bull. It was as quiet and tranquil as the pictures show it to be. It honestly was a zen garden. Please take the time to stay in this lovely accommodation and neighborhood if given the chance.

We absolutely fell in love with the zen b&b - and especially Kokoro the dog. The place has an entrance through a lovely zen studio which leads to a secluded oasis in the heart of trastevere., replete with zen garden style landscaping and a water feature. The place itself is cozy for a couple and is done in a Japanese style, so not your typical US layout. If you are in Rome for a few days, trastevere and the Jewish grotto are very interesting to check out. If you're just site seeing, the #8 tram will take you everywhere. Also highly recommended are the restaurants close by to fit all budgets (AnnaMaria has a fantastic list for you) - we ended up going to L'Essenziale thrice. It's important to note they have a few pets - we loved it though.

This place is a piece of calm in the middle of Roma. We can say at the middle of Roma thanks to the tramway which is placed 3 minutes walk from the cottage and will halp you to reach Roma center in 15 minutes (coliseum, Venice plaza, Pantheon...). Rgarding the cottage, this is a peaceful place, with the perfect discretion of our host. And the last point, but not the least, the breakfast on the morning in the garden is really perfect. In conclusion : To be tried. Thanks again to our host (speaking french, english and of course italian).

Absolutely amazing. Excellent communication with all arrangements and check in/out. The Zen Garden was peaceful and romantic. Breakfast was provided to our private porch with an incredible spread and hot coffee. We stayed four nights and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't take any public transportation. We walked everywhere (coliseum, museums, Sistine chapel, etc, all the touristy places). We enjoyed the walks each day. The entire stay was relaxing from start to finish and I would 100% recommend this place. Did I mention the breakfast!! The breakfast was a highlight of the trip!

Very quirky and quaint little place to stay and great location for bars, food and public transport although we chose to go everywhere on foot. Would highly recommend and would stay there again

We loved our stay in the Zen Garden Cottage at Centro Zen Anshin. We arrived 14 hours later than planned with no luggage. Annamaria & Guglielmo were SO helpful, they helped us find stores to buy clothes and personal items and were so gracious and kind throughout our stay. After such a long, exhausting trip, the Zen Garden was a little oasis of peace, quiet and relaxation. We'd love to go back!

Everything was wonderful. Very peaceful for the bustling city of Rome. We walked everywhere. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. Their dogs were very cute and well behaved. I wish we could have brought them into the room with us! Would definitely return and stay here!

We stayed 4 nights at this place and it really was tranquil and relaxing. It's very private, situated in the private garden of a block of nice apartments. The hosts were lovely, Really helpful with directions etc and brought us a nice breakfast each morning at the time we requested. It was nice to just sit in the garden, with the bamboos, trees and fishpond. There were also a couple of lovely cats that kept us company at times! There were a couple of nice restaurants close by that were recommended by the hosts, good value and nice food and atmosphere. There were other food options close by on the main rd through Travestere. It's bang next to a train station and the bus goes near by. (Of you go get the 170 from the termini station and get off at the McDonald's just after you cross the river, the apartment is on the main rd just to the left). We'd stay here again without doubt when in Rome. Thank you Anna-Maria and Guillermo!

We stayed for three days on our honeymoon. The Zen garden house was beautiful, clean and homely. The hosts shared great tips for getting around the city and lovely restaurants in the local area. The garden was peaceful and the breakfast was fresh. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Rome!

this is the best place i ever stay in airbnb. u can't find any problem in this place. the room is a separate one so we can keep the privacy and it is really clean and spacious. there is also a yard outside,exactly similar in the picture.the hosts are really nice and considerate, highly recommended!

This place is a little gem. Sitting in the garden you wouldn't believe you were in the hustle & bustle of Rome. Hosts were fantastic they provided us with transport links to city centre. Bus/ tram 2 min walk away. They also recommended places to eat. We visited pasta pasta one evening few minute walk. Food was amazing. Accommodation was perfect for two with breakfast brought to the veranda every morning ( we didn't even hear them bring it !) A most tranquil place in the heart of Rome really added to our wonderful experience of the city. Would thoroughly recommend staying here lovely hosts & lovely location. Thanks for a wonderful experience

We had such a fabulous time, the guys were so kind and helpful. They made us feel really welcome in their home, we couldn't of ask for better people to stay with. It was as if we were staying with friends :) it was the perfect location, easily accessible and so relaxing considering it's in Rome! The public transport is very ideal and the station is a few minutes walk, perfect! We would highly recommended staying there and ourselves hope to return in the future.

The cottage was really great, comfortable and cozy and the host were very friendly and helpful (they even helped us with a map and also called a driver for us to take us to the airport and woke up 6am to talk to him). They also made a really rich breakfast for us every day and brought it to the cottage! When it comes to the location, the place is in a very good location since its next to the train station and also there are trams that take you directly to the center of Rome. Easy access to both airports as well!! We really liked a small pizzeria (3 mins walking distance) called Pepito's. The hosts also will give you some suggestions on where to go and which transportation to use. Highly reccomended!!! we had an amazing time :)

The Zen Garden was an incredible place to stay and created a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The backyard was beautiful surrounding the room in which we stayed. Although not located in the heart of old Rome, the metro was just a quick walk down the street, and from there, it took no time at all to reach the Colosseo or other key sights and areas of Rome. Both of the hosts were incredibly respectful, kind, and accommodating, in addition to being so helpful in figuring out how to get to certain places and even offering a list of places to eat. The room and bed were very comfortable and cozy, and the shower was excellent with lots of hot water. I would most definitely stay here again the next time I return to Rome and would recommend to anyone.

My only regret was not being able to stay longer. Our stay was amazing and the perfect relaxing touch to our journey. The cozy, comfortable cottage - in the middle of a scenic zen garden - was lovely, even in the fall; the garden was delightful and peaceful; and Annamaria and Vincenzo were wonderful, wonderful people and I couldn't say nicer things about them. We traveled from Florence to Naples to Rome, so 3 places in 3 cities, and the bed at the zen garden was by far the most comfortable bed we experienced (maybe even comfier than the one at home!) Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It was about a 2 minute walk from the Tram Lines 8 and 3, and it couldn't have been easier to navigate. We will definitely be trying to contact Annamaria and Vincenzo next time we are in Rome. They were wonderful, attentive, down-to-earth hosts and just good people. Thanks to them for everything!

You couldn't ask for better hosts, very warm and welcoming, only moments walk for the train station as solo traveller felt safe. The garden at night is so quiet, soft lighting. The bed itself is super comfy, loved everything about me stay.

The "Zen Garden" was perfect for our stay in Rome. An amazing oasis. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and private. Vincenco welcomed us with a breakfast tray each morning and a hearty buongiorno when we returned each evening. The place is close to the Trastevere train station where trams and buses go but we usually walked to the Roman sites from there since public transit was full up. Good to be only 60 years young. The Zen Garden brings out the best .

The gem you have, was the perfect way to finish our honeymoon. Apsoultely loved every second we were staying there. Just hearin the water of the pond. Being surrounded by the beautiful garden. Was really the perfect way to relax and wind down after wonderful days of exploring the gems Rome has to offer. We were made to feel apart of the family while we stayed there. Annamarie and her husband are truely amazing people, with hearts of gold. There to welcome you with open arms. Still can't get over just how awesome zen garden was to stay there. Thank you for letting us stay. Was perfect just perfect.

Zen gardens was perfect! The location was great, really close to the train station and just outside of the city. The room was clean and tiny and the hosts were very accommodating. Brekkie in the morning was left each morning for us at the time of our choice in the small dining area which was great! Would stay here again on my next trip to Rome.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber mit liebvollem und sehr zugewandten Service. Eine kleine Oase inmitten von Rom! Der einzige (kleine) Kritikpunkt: die Matratzen im Bett sind nicht mehr im allerbesten Zusatnd. Sonst ist alles gut!!

Un petit coin de paradis dans le Trastevere que je recommande fortement. Très bel accueil. Nos hôtes étaient aux petits soins ! Nuits très calmes, petit déjeuner très complet pris dans le jardin, idéalement situé à proximité de la gare et D un quartier de Rome oh combien magnifique. À refaire absolument !

Non troverete niente di simile a Roma in termini di tipologia di struttura (completamente immersa nel verde ma comunque in città). Tranquillità e gentilezza dei proprietari sono i punti di forza del B&b.

Abbiamo trovato un'oasi di pace all'interno di Roma, in una zona collegata benissimo con il centro e l'aeroporto. L'ospitalità e la cortesia dei proprietari sono impagabili, il giardino meraviglioso rende questo posto unico e diverso dalle solite strutture. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Ein ganz besonderer Ort in Rom! Wunderschönes Häuschen im begrünten, ruhigen Innenhof mitten in Rom. Ein Katzensprung zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Das Bemühen der Gastgeberin kommt sichtlich von Herzen und sie gibt sich größte Mühe, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das leckere Frühstück konnten wir nach Absprache selbst auswählen.Wir haben gleich Freundschaft geschlossen mit den lieben Haustieren. Sollten wir nochmal nach Rom kommen, dann möchten wir nur bei Annamaria wohnen!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und uns nach einem langen Besichtigungstag immer auf den traumhaften und ruhigen Garten gefreut. Unsere Gastgeber hatten für uns immer ein offenes Ohr und waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück, welches wir nach Absprache selbst zusammenstellen konnten, war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Tierfreunde werden Ihren Spaß mit den Hunden und Katzen im Garten haben, die allerdings nicht in das Appartement dürfen.

L'endroit est magique. Un mini-cottage avec tout le confort pour 2 personnes dans un superbe jardin au calme. Maria et son mari, très charmants, vous donneront tous les renseignements dont vous avez besoin (plan bons restos, visites à ne pas manquer, ...). Le petit déjeuner est très complet, produits frais et bio, servi soit dans la véranda, soit sur la terrasse. Un charme!! A recommander!! Nous ne pourrions envisager un autre séjour à Rome sans passer dans ce paradis.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le lieu est magique et atypique, très zen, super jardin, la propriétaire est charmante. Le petit dej est parfait, copieux et très bon . Il y a une station de tram a deux mn pour le centre, et le train relie en 30mn l aéroport .

eine wunderschöne, einfache, aber ganz besondere Unterkunft, eine Oase von Ruhe und Frieden mitten in Rom, Gastgeber mit Herzenswärme, ein liebevolles Frühstück, bequemes Bett und man kann sich auch selbst versorgen, da Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher vorhanden. Das Bad ist sehr klein und einfach, aber das hat uns nicht gestört, da die Atmosphäre so einzigartig ist. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.

We had a wonderful time in this cute little cottage in the garden. It was very quiet brcause it is situated behind the houses - no traffic noises etc. Mrs. was very friendly and lookesd very well after us. The breakfast every morning was beautifully done with fresh croissants, nuts and cheese, ... you were asked, for your wishes. Mrs. and her home itself is a reason to come back to rome.

We very much enjoyed our 6 nights stay at your beautiful and peaceful B&B Zen Garden. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and cordiality of our hosts Anna Maria and Guglielmo. Anna Maria gave us every information we could need incl. recommendations of nearby restaurants/bars/etc with good value for money. The little guest house inside a lovingly decorated garden was clean and equipped with all basics we needed, incl. fly nets at the terrace doors and fridge. The bathroom with shower was tiny but fulfilled our needs. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden and listening to the murmuring water in the little fishpond. The tasty and affectionately arranged breakfast was served in the garden, everything fresh and BIO and time-flexible. We also made friends with the charming pets: 2 friendly dogs and some cuddly cats, one of them meowing to be petted and jumping on our laps when we invited her to do so. If you are looking for an anonymous and sterile 5***** luxury stay in a spacious appartment don't go there. But if you want to experience a very familiar, individual and peaceful little oasis close to the center of Trastevere (and only a few steps away from Trastevere railway station, yet quiet, without being bothered by the usual noise of a nearby railway station) you should not miss this location! This is the right place to breath deeply and relax from the stress of the large city nearby. When we come back to Rome we will surely stay again at the Zen Garden and already recommended this place to some friends who might be off to Rome shortly.

We loved this green oasis in the Trastevere area. A very peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts, a buddist coutle were most friendly, helpful and kind. If you don't mind a hard bed, this ticks all the boxes. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing retreat after a busy day in Rome.

Accueil charmant. Anna Maria nous reçoit avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous indique quelques bons plans restos qui s'avèreront judicieux. Le quartier est très bien desservi par les transports en commun (10mn du centre en tram). Le jardin exotique est un vrai havre de paix pour prendre un copieux petit-déjeuner avant de plonger dans la furie des musées. Les nuits sont calmes. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce BB . Un bungalow trés bien équipé au milieu d'un jardin exotique magnifique éloigné des bruits de la rue... Un excellent petit déjeuner avec le chant des petits oiseaux....Extra !! de plus , tous les conseils qui nous ont été donné pour des restaurants et autres sites à visiter se sont avérés excellents!! merci à notre hôtesse "Zen" pour son accueil chaleureux

Es war einfach bezaubernd! Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend behandelt und das abendliche Glas Wein im Garten war paradiesisch nach den langen Wanderungen durch die Stadt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Anna Maria im BB Trastevere Rolli wohnen.

Our little B&B in the garden was very private and relaxing after a noisy day in Rome. We especially liked the Goldfish pond with the water fountain. It was very soothing. The Breakfast was very good with yogurt and fruit and cheese and bread and jam. It kept us going until dinner. The location is excellent. Ours hosts were very helpful. Thank you for our stay. It was very easy to book this B&B and it felt safe booking it through an Association. It was a very unique place and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The host couple are so nice, made me feel like home, gave me so many useful advices and supports, provided us very lovely breakfast. The bungalow is so lovely, in the sweet garden, very privately as well. The dogs and cats are lovely also. The location is cool, near the train station, with tram and bus, can easily go to the view points. It has been a very nice time when staying there.

We stayed one week in December in this hidden gem in Trastevere. In fact in our own little cottage in the sheltered, peaceful garden belonging to our very attentive and kindly hostess. A perfect location, central and very quiet, a delicious breakfast and all we needed - we were even invited to a celebration in their Zen-center. We will be back!

Our hosts are very welcoming and very helpful with restaurant bookings and advice on using buses,trams and trains. The accommodation is only two train stops from the Vatican,and most places easily accessed by bus or tram, combined with the Metro. The bungalow is compact,but everything needed is there. The garden bungalow is quiet and peaceful and we felt safe there. A delicious breakfast was served at a time convenient for us.

Nick and I had a really nice welcome into Roma, staying in this little oasis. The accommodation was compact, but served all of our needs. It was tucked into a backyard of beautiful green, and it felt very peaceful. I would return to this location again- it was easy to find after a long journey, it was central, and it was close to a train station. Perfect!

Un enroit de reve pour des gens specials.Un jardin zen en pleine Roma.Tranquilite assure.Pour nous le meilleur endroit pòur sejourner et apres des longes marches a traves Rome rentre dans ce petit paradis.Anna Maria charmante toujours a votre disposition.Nous nous sommes sentu vraiment chez nous.Chaque fopis que nous retournerons a roma c'est sur que nous ironsa de nouveau dsans ce jardin zen. De trés bonnes comunications en transport.Evasion magie et lumiere garanti.si tu cgerches quelque chose de vraiment magique c'est l'endroit ideale pour toi. patrick et salvador.

Besondere Unterkunft, Ruheoase mitten in Rom. Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück ist italienisch süß und sehr liebevoll, die Unterkunft ist klein, hat aber alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Gastgeber helfen, wo sie können. Wir werden wieder nach Rom fahren aber diesmal wegen unserer Gastgeber.

Eine kühle, grüne Oase im heißen Sommer-Rom! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt beim Frühstück im Garten und haben nette Tips bekommen bzgl. Nahverkehr und Restaurants. Die Unterkunft würde ich jederzeit meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen.

This B&B was very relaxing and quiet. It has a lovley Zen garden to look out to which is quite large for a B&B in Rome. We sat out in the quiet garden reading. The owners are both lovely, lovely people. The breakfast was delicious with a large selection, including fresh baking and lots of hot coffee! The bed was comfortable, bathroom is small but wasn't a problem. It was a great place to stay, very quaint. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and meeting this couple very much.

Nous avons été ravi de passer ces quelques jours dans cette cabane dans un jardin zen très calme. Le lieu est toutefois très pratique d'accès vers Rome et l'aéroport puisque le tramaway et la gare sont à seulement 200 m. L'acceuil est très chaleureux, nous recommendons vivement pour une escapade de quelques jours sur Rome.Annamaria et Guglielmo sont très disponibles

La studio, décoré dans une ambiance "zen et ethnique", offre une totale indépendance, ce qui est un vrai plus! Le jardin est un véritable petit coin de paradis au calme. Le petit déj est royal! Les propriétaires sont des gens très charmants qui nous ont donné de bons conseils et d'excellentes adresses! Je recommande fortement donc!

Merci beaucoup pour ce lieu très reposant, inspirant ! De délicieuses odeurs de fleur d'oranger et de jasmin nous a-t-il semblé. La gentillesse et disponibilité de nos hôtes fait chaud au coeur et leur bienveillance est toute en discrétion...Merci.... Cette petite cour verdoyante est idéale pour quelques jours à Rome, ou même bien plus !!! Aussitôt rentrée, je me suis remise au jardinage, insiprée par toutes ces plantes enivrantes ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux et plein de petites attentions culinaires ! Véritable Coup de coeur !!! Mathilde et Gilles

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons passés un agréable séjour. L'hébergement possède un agréable jardin où il fait bon de se reposer. il est un peu éloigné du centre de Rome mais transport en commun à proximité. La douche qui est commune aux toilettes n'est pas très pratique, même si on s'en accommode.

Un petit havre de paix et de verdure au coeur de Rome. A proximité de la gare qui vous amène de l'aéroport et du tram 8 vers le centre. Anna Maria et Guglielmo sont aux petits soins pour que votre séjour soit idéal : petits déjeuners maison copieux et savoureux, liste des bonnes adresses, conseils sur les itinéraires et visites. Adresse chaudement recommandée.

Séjour très agréable dans un très joli jardin, tout près du centre par le tram et de la gare pour se rendre a l'aéroport. Accueil très chaleureux d'Ana Maria, qui nous donne des conseils avisés pour se déplacer et visiter, chambre et lit très confortables ; surtout, les nuits se passent dans un silence total, très appréciable en centre ville. Le petit déjeuner très copieux et délicieux, servi à l'heure de notre choix. Je recommande cette adresse à mes amis et espère bien revenir un jour prochain !

I have spent four beautiful days in Rome with my nephew. We really enjoyed our accommodation, rich breakfasts, attentive hosts and peaceful garden surrounding the bungalow. Golden fish pond, little Buddhas warming nights with lights, birds singing in the morning, perfect retreat after a whole day of sightseeing... If we are to come to Rome again, we would definitely try to go the same place again.

Wir mochten die einzigartige Atmosphäre: der Pavillion inmitten eines Zen-Gartens im Innenhof eines Wohnblocks in Trastevere (nähe Bahnhof Trastevere. Tram, Taxis). Wir waren ungestört und genossen die Ruhe dort. Das Bed & Breakfast ist super gelegen, in wenigen Minuten ist man bei der Tram Nr. 8, die einen über den Tiber bis Torre Argentina bringt. Von dort kann man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichen. In der Nähe hat es gute Restaurants, das Zentrum von Trastevere und Testaccio sind gut erreichbar. Im Haus war Vincenzo für uns der Ansprechpartner, sein zuvorkommender Service und seine Hilfsbereitschaft wussten wir zu schätzen.
